Drunk In The Studio!? Never!

It seems Avril was more than a bit tipsy when recording 'Girlfriend', her latest single. She said: "I wrote ‘Girlfriend’ when I was drunk! I've never had so much fun in the studio. I feel this is my best record. It was totally different, so much fun!" Apparently this wasn't the last time: "I was wasted, when I sang ‘I Can Do Better’. You can tell I'm drunk in it, I'm laughing. What's really cool about (it) though, is we wrote it, and then I ran into the booth and I sang. I laid down the verse in that take, which you would call my demo. We used my demo!”
