It's official that yet another band member is leaving so near to the release of Avril's upcoming album, 'The Best Damn Thing'. The band member that is due to leave is Charlie and he will be replaced by bassist, Al Berry, who has previously toured with Kelly Clarkson. Charlie left this message:
Hey there,I also will be replaced for the upcoming Avril tour. Bands change all the time, people go off in different directions. There's no hard feelings anywhere, be sure to know that everyone is happy and doing just fine. It's not like anyone got fired, we're all just into other projects at the moment. Change is not always a bad thing! I'm sure Avril's new band will be awesome and they'll probably do an incredible job supporting her new album and tour.Cheer up! you have a new record to look forward to! C.
